I actually spend more time in the studio than anywhere else and things are going pretty well. So where are we now?
- Drums are recorded
- Lead guitars are nearly recorded (I’m waiting for a Fender Stratocaster to record some parts like clean arpeggios and solos)
- Keyboards are ok but I need to work on the piano for “The Missing Piece” and “A Picture…”
- Bass guitar is ok for “The Missing Piece” and “A Picture”.
- So… Voices… Female and male voices have to be recorded. I’m working on some missing lyrics and melodies actually, and I’m searching for ideas. “A Picture” may feature a really short part with growled vocals…
I hope that the album will be ready for the end of the year. And to conclude, there’s nothing compared to some mellotron tunes:
