November playlist

The end of 2008 should be Marillionesque… I’m playing Happiness Is The Road a lot but I can’t say yet what I’m thinking about it… I just can say that I really love “Asylum Satallite #1″, “Happiness Is The Road”, “Real Tears For Pain” and “Wrapped Up In Time”. Brillant songs!! It reminds me more of Marbles than of Somewhere Else which is a really good thing to me.

Apart from Marillion, I’m still listening to one of Magma’s masterpiece: Mekanik Destruktiv Kommandoh, a real otherwordly music! Dark and chaotic… I hope to see them live in 2009.

Some other albums that I play a lot these days in my cd player (“cd player” sounds vintage nowdays isn’t it?):
- Sebastian Hardie “Four Moments” (Beautiful vintage prog rock from Australia)
- Black Mountain “In The Future” (Psyche, prog, cool, I love it!)
- Jethro Tull “Songs From The Wood” (Not my favourite one but there’s something I love with it, it’s all about the cover I guess… It’s a great album for the season)
- Bruce Springsteen “Nebraska” (Beautiful intimist folk songs, great as well for the season and for the change ;) )
- The Who “Who’s Next” (I’m not really a “Who guy”… But thanks to House Md, I finally listen to this album, it’s pure classic rock!)

And I’m listening to Last.fm quite a lot, typing “Gentle Giant” or “Marillion”, good requests for fantastic music! Oh and have you ever tried to request Spleen Arcana, there’s some great results! ;)
