Here is my top 10 personal favourite :

I'm glad that's a topic for us, horror movies lovers! That way we can talk about some of them!
Here are only 10 of my favorite ones. Since I've seen probably hundreds of them it's hard to choose as you can imagine!
Great movies here! But you include Kill Bill and V For Vendetta in horror movies?
In a way, this genre can be really huge as "horror" can mean so many things...

Thank you! Your movies are great too!
They're not horror, it was my mistake!
Here are two to replace them!
Aaaaah
Hostel, like Saw movies, is really sick!! I really liked it, the sequel is quite good as well.
I love sick movies! In fact Hostel and Saw are great, but Grotesque beats them
I leave here one suggestion for those who, like myself, love Stephen King's work!

A great movie, based on an even greater story!
I couldn't resist to put this one here! A really wicked movie!
I hate needles! I have to see it!!
Insanitarium doesn't have many needles!
But if you hate them so much you must remember this Saw scene...

Even I had a hard time watching this!
OMG yes!! Fantastic scene for a "needle hater"!! You just can't watch it without tightening your fits if you see what I mean...
Another movie with an impressive scene including needle is Audition :

Ouch!
Of course I know what you mean, you feel a chill on your spine, it's an amazing sensation, but bad at the same time!
I never saw that one! From which country is it?
Actually, this is a Japanese one : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Audition_%28film%29
A weird atmosphere and the final scene is quite impressive...
Here is my dvd list and as you can see, there are a lot of horror movies!

Great movie list you have!
I hope I can get some of the movies you have there, they’re probably hard to find here, but I’ll try anyway! Specially Japanese ones, they’re my favorites!
I didn't even knew there was a Ring O and a ring 2 in Japanese. But now I'm really curious about Audition!
Thank you
Oh yes, the prequel and sequel of Ring... I just watched to Ring 2 but it's not that good... What do you think about the us remake? It's one of my fav remake I'd say...
Well, I’m not a fan of remakes, although I must admit that “The Ring” and “The grudge” us remakes were actually good.
However “one missed call” (Japanese too) us remake was terrible, they’ve ruined the original one, which was amazing, maybe one of my favorite Japanese horror movies.
I really think that the American movie industry should stop doing remakes of Japanese horror movies, because it doesn’t matter how hard they try, they will never capture the essence of those movies, and they will never create the same horrifying reaction.
That’s just my opinion, of course.
they will never capture the essence of those movies, and they will never create the same horrifying reaction.
Yes I totally agree! There's a really special atmosphere in those Japanese horror movies, it's sometimes really emotional... Subtle... But the Ring remake is really good in my opinion even if it's quite different from the original one.
I really liked Dark Water, how is the remake?
I think that the feeling caused by Japanese, Thai or other oriental movies is so unique because of those weird languages, those different ways of making movies, of capturing human emotions at their extreme. American movie industry is more superficial, although movies like Saw and Hostel deserve to be applauded.
Well, I've never seen Dark water, so I can´t coment on that...

Hve you seen this movie? I wonder how it would be a us remake of this.
