Hmm, I never really watched it, but I've heard it's great show, so I am about to check it.
Btw, now I see that one of the actors is Michael C. Hall, which has been acting also in Six Feet Under.

The character of Dexter is completely amazing! I'm a fan of the tv show for a while, and I think that the screenplay is genius! The whole idea of directing our anger towards the ones who deserve to die instead of killing innocents is just fantastic! And not only that, the fact that Dexter is a cop makes us think that he was supposed to catch bad guys, not be one of them, but if we look at the situation with different eyes, we kind of start understanding the character's position, and we hope that he gets away unpunished because after all, he is making a favor to society!

There are things that are worth waiting for, and definitely Dexter is one of those things.
