Some days ago I received my Marshall Supa Fuzz clone built by Montgomery Appliaces, the model is called the Supa Bender.
It sounds really fat and the fuzz is really rich. The result with some analog delay is great for solo, with a lot of sustain. I’m currently searching for new sounds with this Supa Bender on my new guitar recordings. I recorded a small sample so you can get an idea of how it sounds. The recording chain is : Gibson Les Paul Custom > Supa Bender > Tech 21 Blonde (clean setting) > RME Multiface/computer

Based on this sample, it seems very similar to the Big muff.
I guess you have (had?) a Big Muff. Is my feeling right?

Yep I own a Big Muff but I don’t use it at all.
I’d say the Supa Bender sounds really like a fuzz, it’s quite different but it’s hard to describe. I’d say maybe it’s less wild than a Big Muff but it’s more singing. Using an overdrive in front of it = infinite sustain :D
I’m recording some “vintage heavy” riff at the moment and this fuzz changes the whole sound.
