June 2012 Playlist

The new Rush album is on heavy rotation these days. I’m not too familiar with their recent albums, not a big fan of Snakes And Arrows or Vapor Trails but I think I’ll like Clockwork Angels, I’ll already do actually. And it sounds great! The production is top notch.

As you can see, the rest of the playlist is quite 70′s prog rock oriented as always…

Well, my playlist for last month (you need to create August Playlist :p ):

    Rush – Clockwork Angels
    Judas Priest – Painkiller
A place to bury strangers – Worship
    Dead man’s bones – Dead man’s bones
    David Bowie – Reality
    Anathema – Weather systems
Arjen Lucassen – Lost in the new real

From all this albums the one that I cannot stop listening to is Arjen Lucassen’s Lost in the new real. It’s perfect! Eyes closed, music loud, a trip to another beautiful and futuristic dimension! Nothing better to relax and fly away… Highly recommend it :)

Hey nice playlist!! Weather Systems is on heavy rotation here too, another great album from Anathema!

I need to play Lost In The New Real more but I always have in mind “Pink Beatles In A Purple Zeppelin”, fun song!! :D

    Thank you :)

Weather systems it’s definitely a beautiful work, but I always find myself going back to alternative 4 for some unknown reason.

Oh, lol, “Pink beatles in a purple zeppelin” is so funny! And “When I’m a hundred sixty-four”, love it :D

I couldn’t agree more, Alternative 4 was and will always be their masterpiece, their golden period, and Judgmente is also amazing, “One last goodbye”, “Emotional Winter”, “Parisienne Moonlight”…great songs :)
